About

It’s about the transformation. Enhancing features, changing identities, creating special effects, building confidence…it’s beauty and it is all apart of an artists job.

Growing up in a small town on the Central Coast, Leah always knew her creativity would one day grow bigger than the population of where she grew up. That is why after obtaining her license in cosmetology, working in a salon and growing an incredible clientele, Leah decided to take her talent to the next level.

Next level meaning move down to Los Angeles, expand her beauty skills and industry knowledge by being formally trained at MUD Makeup Designory. At MUD, she met some incredible artist, photographers and people in the industry. She has completed countless make up looks ranging from natural to Avant-garde and has enjoyed working on new techniques and perfecting her hairstyling skills.

Right now, Leah is a member of IATSE Local 706 working in film, television and commercials  along with  freelancing for weddings, special occasions and photo/print work.

Personal Statement

Creativity, skill and passion are all key factors to being a hair and makeup artist. Seeing the beauty in something not for it’s face value but for it’s potential and being inspired by that is something I pride myself on. Being able to help my clients feel beautiful and confortable in their own skin is what motivates me to learn, try new things, and stay on top of the ever changing beauty industry.  Fulfilling all of my potential as an artist is something I strive for with any job and find great enjoyment in exceeding expectations of those around me.
